A new care home operated by Crystal Care Collection is set to open it’s doors to the Truro community in early 2027.
The care home, named Landers Court in ode to Truro-born explorer Richard Lander, is currently under construction on Treyew Road. It will provide high quality residential and dementia care for up to 66 older people.
Truro’s ageing population and limited local care-home capacity are keeping demand for high-quality later-life care firmly in focus, with around 6,678 people aged 60 and over.
Em Dean, the Managing Director for Crystal Care Collection in the South West, said, “Landers Court will be a person-centred home where residents can enjoy excellent support, their families can feel confident, and local people can see a genuine long-term investment in later-life care for the town.”
Landers Court will feature premium amenities such as an in-house salon, a Sky Bar, a cinema, and a vintage-style tea room, as well as 66 en-suite bedrooms with bespoke furniture.
Crystal Care Collection’s all‑inclusive, ‘Crystal Clear’ fee at Landers Court means one fixed weekly price covers everything from 24‑hour care, freshly prepared meals and housekeeping to hairdressing, chiropody, days out and a packed calendar of activities.
There are no hidden extras or surprise bills, so residents can simply enjoy life, and families have complete peace of mind about the cost of care no matter the needs of the resident.
