Lindsey Herriot

General Manager

Lindsey Herriot is an experienced Registered Nurse and healthcare leader with over 17 years of nursing experience across a wide range of clinical and leadership settings. Her career began in emergency medicine, where she developed strong clinical judgement, resilience, and a passion for delivering high-quality person-centred care.

Throughout her career, Lindsey has worked internationally in prestigious and highly demanding roles, including providing VIP nursing care within the Saudi Arabian Royal Family and working as a flight nurse with British Airways, delivering specialist care whilst travelling globally.

Lindsey has extensive experience in elderly care, nursing home management, commissioning, and service turnaround. She has successfully led struggling care services from Inadequate to Good with the Care Quality Commission through strong leadership, robust governance, team development, and a commitment to exceptional standards of care.

Known for her compassionate leadership style and hands-on approach, Lindsey is passionate about creating safe, welcoming, and person-centred environments where both residents and staff can thrive. She takes pride in building positive relationships with residents, relatives, professionals, and local communities.

Sharon Taylor

Customer Relationship Manager

Sharon is the Customer Relationship Manager at Dale Brook Care Home. With a strong background in customer service and building long-term relationships, she is passionate about helping families navigate the process of finding the right care for their loved ones.

She takes great pride in creating meaningful connections with residents and their families, ensuring that everyone feels supported, informed, and welcomed from their very first enquiry. Her friendly and reassuring approach helps make the transition into care as smooth as possible.

Before joining Dale Brook, Sharon worked in the giftware industry for more than 25 years, most recently as a Sales Manager. During this time, she developed exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.

Alongside her full-time role, Sharon is a dedicated volunteer for a local lunch club for older people. She coordinates four teams of volunteers who cook for 40 members every week, organises outings, and plans seasonal parties and entertainment.

Outside of work, Sharon is mum to two grown-up daughters and enjoys walking in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside, attending yoga classes, and growing her own fruit and vegetables. She also loves cooking for and entertaining friends and family.
