Residents, team members, and families from Archbridge Manor care home in Telford organised their own Memory Walk in honour of World Alzheimer’s Day.
Donning the official purple ribbons, the group set off from the care home on Marsh Meadow Way around the local area to raise awareness.
One resident supporter, 96-year-old George Grand, said “It was lovely to get everyone together, out in the fresh air, wearing our purple ribbons showing our support for those affected by Alzheimer’s.”
Darran Bolas, the Care Manager at Archbridge Manor, added, “Our Alzheimer’s Walk was much more than just a walk, it was a great way to bring people together in support of those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
“We were proud to see so many people from our home join the walk for a cause that means so much to a lot of people.”
