Welcome to Maris View – Providing compassionate care in Eastbourne, East Sussex, from Spring 2026.

Located in a peaceful setting, just a stone’s throw from Pevensey Bay, Maris View care home in Eastbourne will offer premium living and person-centred care. Easily accessible to loved ones in surrounding areas of Hailsham and Polegate, our soon- to-open home will provide a welcoming environment that is still close to local amenities.

With 66 spacious en-suite bedrooms, bright communal lounges, inviting dining areas and beautifully landscaped gardens for relaxation, fresh air and connection. Our aim is to build a vibrant community where residents can flourish and feel proud to call Maris View their home.

We offer a range of care options including, residential, dementia and respite care, delivered by a compassionate, professional team who take the time to understand each resident’s routines, preferences and needs. General Manager

May brings over 21 years of experience in the care sector, supporting people across a wide range of care settings. For the past nine years, she has held senior management roles within nursing and dementia care, where her approach has always been rooted in kindness, dignity, and respect for every individual.

She understands how challenging it can be for families to place their trust in others to care for a loved one. For May, exceptional care goes beyond meeting physical needs; it is about truly knowing each person, listening to families, and creating a safe, welcoming environment that feels like home. She actively encourages open communication and values the vital role families play in their loved one’s care, making herself approachable and available at all times.

May holds an NVQ Level 5 in Management and Leadership, alongside a degree in Psychology, which underpins her thoughtful, compassionate leadership style. She is passionate about maintaining high standards of care while ensuring residents feel comfortable, secure, and supported as individuals.

Outside of work, May enjoys playing the piano, reading, and spending quality time with her daughters. She is also deeply committed to animal welfare and rescue, reflecting her caring nature both professionally and personally.
