Penrose Croft care home in Helston, which opened in August 2026, hosted a ‘Blue Light Breakfast’, welcoming members of the fire and ambulance service to the home for a freshly cooked breakfast.
The event took place in the care home on Rowes Lane, where key workers enjoyed a hot breakfast sandwich, a warm drink and a chat.
Annmarie Thomas, the General Manager at Penrose Croft, said, “We are incredibly proud to be part of our local community, and we love people together.
“We absolutely loved having the blue light workers with us, and it was a great opportunity to say a little thank you for everything they do for our local community.”
Penrose Croft invites all members of the community to the home’s weekly Cornish Cream Tea Experience, where everyone is welcome to join residents on Wednesdays from 2pm-4pm for a traditional cream tea.
