As a registered nurse, she has worked across a wide range of settings, including as a forensic nurse practitioner with the police, in A&E in Bristol, at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and within addiction services and community care—giving her a well-rounded and deeply rooted understanding of care.
Over the past nine years, Marie has moved into leadership roles as a Regional and Registered Manager in social care. She is passionate about advocating for those she supports, ensuring every individual feels heard, valued, and cared for in a way that is truly personal to them.

Outside of work, Kira is very family-focused and loves spending quality time with her husband, their two children, and their much-loved cockapoo. They especially enjoy spending time together in Bude, Cornwall. Kira also enjoys going out for meals, socialising with friends, and making the most of life’s simple pleasures. At home, she has a real passion for baking and cooking, often bringing people together through good food.o
