Stowe Mount care home in Lichfield is gearing up to celebrate their first anniversary with a Disney-themed event for the entire community.
Opened in May 2025, Stowe Mount has since become the highest rated home in the Lichfield area on carehome.co.uk, as well as supporting several community groups and organisations such as Chasetown Football Club and Scotch Orchard Primary School.
To mark their first anniversary, residents and staff will be welcoming the community to Stowe Mount to enjoy live entertainment for all ages, stalls from local businesses, and delicious food and refreshments.
Children from Scotch Orchard Primary School will be opening the event with a live musical performance of some Disney classics.
89-year-old resident Yvonne Coombes, who was the first resident to move to Stowe Mount, said, “It’s always lovely having people in our home, and I was the first resident it will be especially lovely to celebrate this milestone.”
Rebecca Bristow, the General Manager at Stowe Mount, added, “Everyone at Stowe Mount is so excited to celebrate our first anniversary. Over the past year, we’ve created such a strong community, and we can’t wait to mark this milestone with our friends and neighbours.”
