The team behind Bicester’s newest care home, Otwell Grove, officially received the keys to the state-of-the-art home this week, marking a major milestone ahead of its opening.
Led by General Manager Wendy Luck, the team celebrated the handover of the purpose-built care home, which has been designed to provide high-quality, person-led care.
Otwell Grove features 66 en-suite bedrooms, private dining spaces, a cinema room, beauty salon and the latest care technology to support residents’ wellbeing, independence and quality of life.
Every bedroom is equipped with Sensio RoomMate, an innovative safety monitoring system that preserves residents’ privacy, dignity and independence.
The official handover from LNT Care Developments signals the beginning of the final preparations before welcoming the home’s first residents.
Wendy said, “Receiving the keys to Otwell Grove is an exciting moment for our entire team. We are looking forward to opening our doors and creating a supportive community where residents can live well.
“Our team will provide exceptional care for local people, alongside new initiatives such as our Community Tree programme, where we will work closely with schools, organisations and charities to ensure residents remain at the heart of the Bicester community.”
Wendy and the team will be welcoming community members to Otwell Grove’s Grand Opening on Saturday 17th October. From 11:00-15:00, all will be welcome to enjoy a vintage care display, live entertainment, homemade refreshments, and tours of the home.
