Bowesbury care home in Derby, operated by Crystal Care Collection, is set to host a community open event with ambassador, television personality, author, and wellbeing advocate, Anthea Turner.
On Saturday 28th February from 11:00 until 13:00, all will be welcome to join residents and Anthea Turner at Bowesbury for family friendly fun, including:
- Suncatcher painting
- Live entertainment and music
- Bake sale in aid of Sight Support Derbyshire
- Face painting
- Balloon modelling
- Spring cocktails and mocktails
- Seasonal taster treats
Anthea Turner said, “I’m looking forward to spending time at beautiful Bowesbury, getting to know the residents and caring team, and meeting the Boulton Moor community.
“What’s even better, we’ll be raising money in aid of Sight Support Derbyshire with a bake sale filled with delicious treats. I hope to see everyone there!”
Denise Spencer, the General Manager at Bowesbury, added, “Since opening our doors in December, our Bowesbury family has gone from strength to strength, so we’re excited to show our community what we’ve achieved so far.
