A major milestone in construction has been reached on a new care home development in Truro, Cornwall.
Em Dean, Managing Director at Crystal Care Collection, was joined by her team in the South West to perform a topping out ceremony to mark the final stages of the buildings structural frame.
The care home, named Landers Court, is due to open in February 2027 and will provide person-led residential, dementia, and respite care with an all-inclusive fee for up to 66 people.
Em Dean said, “Landers Court is on track to become Crystal Care Collection’s third purpose-built care home in Cornwall. As well as bringing more high-quality care beds to the region, this exceptional home will open with a focus on community.
“Through partnerships with local businesses, groups, and charities, Landers Court will always ensure that residents and staff remain active members of the community.”
Landers Court also incorporates several sustainability features which contribute to gas-free operations, including photovoltaic solar panels, ground source heat pump technology, onsite battery storage, and water saving measures.
