Kinglea Court care home in Chingford, a brand-new home on Sewardstone Road, has announced Age UK Waltham Forest as its chosen charity.
Purpose built for up to 66 residents, Kinglea Court provides high-quality residential, dementia, and respite care, and will support Age UK Waltham Forest through upcoming events and projects.
As part of the home’s Community Tree initiative, designed to support residents in continuing to be active members of the local community, Kinglea Court team members spent the day volunteering for Age UK Waltham Forest to kick off their backing.
Lisa Coombs, the General Manager at Kinglea Court, said, “Our team had a great time meeting everyone at Age UK Waltham Forest, and we can’t wait to continue to grow this relationship.
“Our support will continue during our Springtime themed community Grand Opening on Saturday 21st March, where all are welcome to enjoy a fantastic raffle in aid of Age UK, light refreshments, live entertainment and guided tours of our new home.”
Kinglea Court’s Grand Opening will take place at the home Sewardstone Road, Waltham Abbey, E4 7RE at 2pm.
If you are unable to attend the Grand Opening, Kinglea Court is now open for guided tours. For information on living with Kinglea Court or community partnerships, call 020 8153 3556, or email [email protected].
