Baysfield Gardens care home celebrated a successful Grand Opening recently, bringing together residents, families, local organisations and members of the wider community.
A highlight of the day was the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, led by Councillor Lucy Nixon, who shared words of support and congratulations as the home officially opened its doors.
Guests enjoyed a packed programme of activities and entertainment throughout the day, including live music from Sue’s Acoustic, a seated Zumba session from Vision Rise Fitness, and performances from the Fiddlesticks Northwest Clog Dancers.
Visitors also enjoyed meeting ponies from Spring Meadows Pony Parties, treats from the ice cream van, and taking part in face painting activities designed for all ages.
The event also supported a worthy local cause, fundraising for Star Throwers Cancer Support Charity. Organisers thanked everyone who contributed to the fundraising effort.
Baysfield Gardens was also delighted to welcome representatives from the Wymondham Dementia Support Group (WDSG).
Speaking following the celebration, Liz Atkins, the General Manager at Baysfield Gardens, said,
