Eastbourne’s newest care home, Maris View operated by Crystal Care Collection, has officially opened its doors to the public following a successful Grand Opening with the local community.
The event welcomed people of all ages for a day of celebration, live entertainment and guided tours of the brand-new facilities. Mayor Margaret Bannister performed a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the occasion.
Guests enjoyed an afternoon of Shanty Music, crafts, entertainment by The Pevensey Ukelele Group, an ice cream van, and homemade canapes.
A raffle held throughout the day raised £160 for the Association of Carers Eastbourne, a charity which provides free, volunteer-led support services to unpaid Carers in East Sussex.
