A local care home in Yeovil is celebrating its first anniversary after a standout year defined by award-winning excellence and community spirit.
Potter House, part of the Crystal Care Collection, opened its doors one year ago and has quickly become a welcoming home in the heart of Yeovil, providing high-quality residential care.
Over the past twelve months, the home has had lots to celebrate, including being recently recognised in the prestigious Knight Frank Top 100 Luxury Care Home Guide 2026. This is a remarkable achievement for the team and a reflection of the home’s reputation for providing exceptional person-centred care in a beautifully eco-friendly home.
Community spirit has been a defining feature of life at Potter House. The team raised funds for Yeovil Blood Bikes, a vital volunteer service providing emergency medical transportation across the region and took to the skies in a charity skydive in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society. In total, Potter House has raised over £2,600 for various charities throughout the year.
The home has also welcomed a new Customer Relationship Manager, Chloe Bale, who has quickly strengthened the home’s connection with the wider Yeovil community. This has included visiting and supporting local businesses, such as Marsh Lane Pharmacy and Well Lane Pharmacy, to show support for their vital role for residents and the community.
Chloe Bale, Customer Relationship Manager at Potter House, said, “The residents and team at Potter House are all enormously proud to be celebrating this milestone. From our Knight Frank recognition to the connections we’ve built across the Yeovil community, it’s been a fantastic first year.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the warm welcome we’ve received from the local community, and I’m looking forward to making more memories at Potter House in the years to come.”
