An important milestone at Chantrey Fields, Market Rasen’s newest care home, was celebrated recently as General Manager Cheryl Shorter planted a ceremonial tree on the site.
Chantrey Fields has been designed to provide exceptional residential, dementia and respite care. Once completed, the home will offer residents beautifully landscaped gardens, a cinema, a salon, and a vibrant programme of activities focused on quality of life.
The newly planted tree will become a permanent feature within the grounds of Chantrey Fields, growing alongside the community that will soon flourish there.
Cheryl said, “Planting this tree is a wonderful way to mark the journey of Chantrey Fields as we prepare to open our doors to residents.
“We are not simply building a care home; we are creating a place where people can thrive and continue to be active members of the community. This tree represents the beginning of that journey, and we look forward to watching it grow.”
As well as wrap-around landscaped gardens and premium amenities, Chantrey Fields will also feature photovoltaic solar panels, advanced battery storage systems, ground source heat pump technology, LED movement sensor lighting, and water saving measures. These features are all designed to ensure efficiency in the home without compromising on comfort or quality.
Cheryl and the team at Chantrey Fields are now looking forward to welcoming the local community to a Grand Opening event on Saturday 31st October. From 11:00, all will be able to visit the home for tours, a glass of fizz, canapes, live entertainment, and much more.
