An important milestone in the development of Baysfield Gardens, Wymondham’s newest care home, was celebrated recently as General Manager Liz Atkins planted a ceremonial tree on the site.
Baysfield Gardens has been designed to provide exceptional residential, dementia and respite care. Once completed, the home will offer residents beautifully landscaped gardens, a cinema, a salon, and a vibrant programme of activities focused on quality of life.
The newly planted tree will become a permanent feature within the grounds of Baysfield Gardens, growing alongside the community that will soon flourish there.
Liz said, “Planting this tree is a wonderful way to mark the journey of Baysfield Gardens as we prepare to open our doors to residents.
“We are not simply building a care home; we are creating a home where people can thrive, be active members of the community, and live life on their terms. This tree represents the beginning of that journey, and we look forward to watching it grow.”
As well as wrap-around landscaped gardens and premium amenities, Baysfield Gardens will also feature photovoltaic solar panels, advanced battery storage systems, ground source heat pump technology, LED movement sensor lighting, and water saving measures. These features are all designed to ensure efficiency in the home without compromising on comfort or quality.
Liz and the team at Baysfield Gardens are now looking forward to welcoming the local community to a Grand Opening event on 22nd August, with more details to follow.
