Dovebourne care home in Hatton has announced its continued support for the Derby Book Festival by becoming an official drop-off point for the festival’s Children’s Book Appeal.
Following Crystal Care Collection’s recent sponsorship of Derby Book Festival, Dovebourne is now inviting members of the community to donate children’s books at the care home to be distributed to families across Derby.
Melanie Fenton, the General Manager at Dovebourne, said, “Supporting our community in any way we can is important to everyone at Dovebourne, so we’re very proud to become a drop off point for the Children’s Book Appeal.
“Anyone is welcome to donate and of course stay for a hot drink and a treat.”
Dovebourne care home is located on Derby Road, Hatton, DE65 5PT, and donations can be made at any time. Community members are also welcome to join Dovebourne’s Tuesday Cuppa Club, where all can join residents at Dovebourne for a hot drink, delicious treats and a chat.
