Family-Fun Events at Potter House in Celebration of Care Home Open Week

Potter House care home in Yeovil have announced a week of community events from 15th June to 21st June to celebrate Care Home Open Week.

Care Home Open Week, organised by Championing Social Care, encourages care homes across the UK to connect with people in their areas.

With this year’s Care Home Open Week theme being The World Cup, Potter House will kick off on Monday 15th June with a screening of the 1966 World Cup Final in the home’s cinema room from 2pm.

The rest of the week’s activities are as follows:

  • Tuesday 16th at 2pm – Owl Obsession experience
  • Wednesday 17th at 1:30pm – Pub Quiz
  • Thursday 18th at 2:30pm – Pottery Painting
  • Friday 19th at 2pm – Garden Games
  • Saturday 20th at 3pm – Live entertainment from singer, Stevie P
  • Sunday 21st at 5pm – Father’s Day Beer and a Burger (booking essential)

All are welcome to any of the week’s activities at Potter House, free of charge.
