Fairwood Fields care home in Pontefract has achieved five stars in it’s first food hygiene inspection from the Food Standards Agency.
The five-star rating reflects excellent standards in food handling, preparation, cleanliness, and overall kitchen management. The achievement comes shortly after Fairwood Field’s double win at the Pontefract Civic Society’s Design Awards 2026.
Lynn Robinson, the General Manager at Fairwood Fields, said, “We are so proud of our wonderful kitchen team- this result is a testament to their dedication, working to ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and nutrition for our residents every day.”
