New Telford Care Home Officially Handed Over to Crystal Care Collection

8 April 2026 Archbridge Manor

Gemma Fearon, the General Manager at Telford’s newest care home, and her team officially received the keys to the home this week.

The care home, named Archbridge Manor in ode to the iconic Telford Bridge and operated by Crystal Care Collection, will offer quality residential, dementia, and respite care for up to 66 older people in a purpose-built environment.

With much of the UK’s care home stock now more than 20 years old, there is a clear need for modern, purpose‑built homes in Shropshire that can meet rising demand and today’s expectations for quality care.

Now open for private tours, Archbridge Manor’s amenities include 66 bedrooms with en-suite wet rooms, four lounge and dining areas, a cinema room, a salon, two garden rooms, two quiet lounges, and landscaped gardens with outdoor seating.

Gemma said, “Archbridge Manor is going to be a community hub where everyone is welcome to join us for regular events and activities, and a place where our residents are still active members of the Telford area.

“We hope everyone can join us for our Grand Opening, Archbridge Manor in Wonderland in aid of Telford Crisis Support, where we’ll have live entertainment, afternoon tea treats, family activities for all ages, home tours, complimentary goody bags, and a special Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with Mayor Eileen Calter.”

Archbridge Manor’s Grand Opening will take place at the home on Marsh Meadow Way, Redhill, Telford, TF2 9WP from 11:00 until 14:00. Entry is free of charge
