Dovebourne, a new care home coming to Hatton, has announced the appointment of Melanie Fenton as its General Manager, bringing 40 years of experience in the health and social care sector.
Melanie began her career in care in 1987, starting with the London Borough of Ealing Council as a Residential Social Worker. She steadily progressed through the ranks to become a General Manager, gaining invaluable hands-on experience at every stage of her career.
A CQC Registered Manager for 26 years, Melanie has extensive experience in maintaining high-quality standards and strong regulatory compliance. Melanie said,
“Care has always been more than a career for me. My focus has always been on creating environments where people are able to live fulfilling lives.
“At Dovebourne, I look forward to continuing this commitment by supporting our residents, empowering teams to deliver the highest standards of care, and working alongside the community to make our care home a place everyone can be proud of.”
Melanie and the team at Dovebourne will be inviting the local community to a Grand Open Day on Saturday 11th April, where all will be welcome to enjoy live entertainment, refreshments, and guided tours of the new home.
Dovebourne will offer high-quality residential, dementia, and respite care for up to 66 older people in a purpose-built home. Residents living at Dovebourne will benefit from an all-inclusive, ‘Crystal Clear’ care package, giving peace of mind to residents and families knowing there are no hidden billable extras.
