Potter House care home in Yeovil has set up a donations drop-off point for The Local Pantry at St Peter’s Community Centre.
Members of the public can now donate non-perishable food items and essential household supplies directly at the care home, which will be donated to the community centre to provide vital support to individuals in need across the area.
Potter House resident, Merle Redwood, said, “This is a great idea because the prices are too high at the moment. It will be good to help people who don’t have the same as we have had. Any way we can help we would like to be involved.”
The General Manager at Potter House, said, “Community is so important to everyone at Potter House, and helping this incredible community centre allows us to give something back. We know how important The Local Pantry’s work is for people across Yeovil, and we’re proud to do our part to help.”
