Lisa Coombs

General Manager

Lisa began her career in care at the age of 18 after supporting a loved one, an experience that shaped her lifelong passion for caring for older people and supporting their families. She brings over 13 years’ experience in the care sector, including the last 10 years as a Registered Manager, having progressed from a Healthcare Assistant through dedication and strong leadership.

In 2019, Lisa led a service to achieve an Outstanding CQC rating, making it the only care home in the London boroughs for people over 65 to receive this recognition at the time. She is passionate about delivering high standards of care, running safe and compliant services, and using digital systems and KPIs to drive quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.

Lisa strongly believes in empowering teams, creating opportunities for growth, and supporting staff development at every stage of their journey. Building trusted relationships is central to her approach, and she enjoys working closely with local authorities, healthcare partners, schools, churches, and businesses to develop meaningful community and intergenerational connections.

She is proud of the positive feedback received from families and of maintaining full occupancy through trust, reputation, and word of mouth.

Outside of work, Lisa is a mum of two and enjoys travelling, being in the sunshine, and spending time outdoors walking her two Labradors. She is always looking for ways to give back, make a difference, and create positive change for the people and communities she supports.
