Residents at Lake View Lodge care home in Halling recently enjoyed a special pet therapy session with a very popular visitor, Buster the dog.
During the visit, residents had the opportunity to spend time with Buster, talk about past experiences with pets and enjoy his company.
Resident Pat Wilkin said: “It was an absolute pleasure to meet little Buster the dog. I had my own little dog, ‘Tiny’, that followed me around everywhere I went when I was a little girl, so I’ve always loved them. I’m looking forward to seeing Buster again when he next visits.”
Another resident, Joyce Booth, added: “I absolutely love dogs and enjoy meeting other residents’ families’ dogs when they come in to visit. I had a lovely cuddle with Buster, and I would have loved to have kept him.”
Becky White, the General Manager at Lake View Lodge, commented, “Visits from animals like Buster are a simple way for residents to share experiences, enjoy a friendly companion, and spend time together. They’re always very well received, and everyone is looking forward to the next visit.”
