Deeside’s newest purpose-built care home, Estuary Gardens in Deeside, North Wales, is set to open its doors in September 2025, creating around 60 jobs for the local community.
Offering exceptional standards of care, communication, and community values to future residents, Estuary Gardens will mark Crystal Care Collection’s third environmentally friendly care home.
Named in ode to the nearby Dee Estuary and its nature reserve, the home will provide residential, dementia and respite care for up to 66 older people, with an innovative team of professionals delivering person-centred care on an all-inclusive, ‘Crystal Clear’ package. *
As well as fair pay for all team members above the National Living Wage, staff can enjoy benefits like a fully funded Blue Light Card, meals on shift, and excellent career growth opportunities.
Liz Walker, the Managing Director at Crystal Care Collection, said, ‘High-quality care starts with a great team of people who can work together to support each other and the residents they care for.
‘At Estuary Gardens, we’re building more than just a care home — we’re creating a thriving, compassionate community where every team member feels valued, and every resident feels at home.’
Estuary Gardens will also be introducing a ‘Community Tree’ initiative, designed to support residents to stay connected to the community that they know and love by visiting and bringing in local people, groups and organisations to the home for shared activities and events.
Recruitment for Estuary Gardens will soon be underway for a variety of roles including care assistants, activities staff, hospitality staff, and maintenance personnel.
