Bowesbury, a new luxury all-inclusive care home in Boulton Moor, part of Crystal Care Collection, will be opening its doors to the community with a Winter Wonderland Grand Opening event on Saturday 29 November, from 10am to 2pm. The day will begin with a special moment of honour as HM Lord Lieutenant of Derbyshire, Elizabeth Fothergill CBE, officially opens the home at 10:00am.
A highly respected figure, the Lord Lieutenant serves as His Majesty’s representative in the county, supporting civic, voluntary and community activity. Her attendance marks a meaningful start to Bowesbury’s journey as a home built on clarity, compassion and community involvement.
Visitors can expect a truly festive celebration. Bowesbury’s Winter Wonderland theme will come to life through delicious winter-themed treats prepared by the home’s chef, live entertainment from singer Lady Lindy, and the chance to share hopes for the future of the home by adding a message to the Bowesbury Wish Tree. Guests will also be able to explore the beautifully designed home, meet the team and take home a complimentary Gift Bag as a thank you for joining the celebration.
Bowesbury, set to welcome its first residents in December 2025, is a purpose-built, 66-bed home offering residential and dementia care in warm, contemporary surroundings. Every detail has been designed to promote comfort, independence and meaningful connection, with spacious en-suite bedrooms, inviting lounges, activity rooms and landscaped outdoor spaces.
