Dale Brook care home in Clay Cross will be hosting a community Tea and Toy Drive on Tuesday 25th November at 11:00am, in support of the Chesterfield FC Toy Appeal sponsored by Brett Martin.
The initiative aims to ensure that no child in the local community wakes up on Christmas Day without a gift.
All are welcome to join residents in the home for a hot drink and festive refreshments, and guests are encouraged to donate new toys suitable for children 18 or under. Monetary contributions will also be gratefully accepted and will be used by Chesterfield FC to purchase additional gifts for the appeal.
Chesterfield FC’s marketing manager, Bridget Ball, said: “We want to help put smiles on the faces of children who would otherwise miss out on opening a present on Christmas Day.
“It is a very challenging time for many people, and we are looking to do our bit to help ease the burden.”
Donal McFadden, the General Manager at Dale Brook, added, “Community spirit is at the heart of everything we do, and this event is a wonderful opportunity for people to come together, share in the season’s goodwill, and support a cause that matters.”
The Tea and Toy Drive will take place at:
