Tudor House care home in Bristol has received positive feedback following a recent inspection carried out by The Woodberry Partnership, resulting in an overall ‘Good’ rating.
The Woodberry Partnership provides privately commissioned inspections for care services across the UK, reviewing processes and systems, observing day-day living and interactions, and talking to staff members, residents, and relatives in the home.
The inspection report noted that observations of care and support showed “a happy, relaxed and cheerful environment.” Care interactions witnessed between staff and residents were described as “caring, encouraging, compassionate and friendly.”
Feedback from residents was reported as “warm, complimentary and grateful” about their experiences of living at Tudor House. One resident shared:
“Oh, I’m treated so well. There’s a nice, easy atmosphere here. The bedroom is nice and whatever you ask from them they do for you. I’m especially happy with the night staff and I consider them friends.”
Visitors were similarly complimentary about the staff and the service. One relative commented:
“[My relative] has been here since July. I’d give them ten out of ten to be honest. It feels much safer than her last home and she’s more stimulated. Staff give her time and are interested in her. I get invited to have lunch with her. I’ve also noticed that staff seem to stay here rather than leave all the time.”
