Residents at Gillingham Grange care home are inviting the local community to take part in a treasure hunt, with 20 handmade crocheted hearts set to be hidden around Chard from Monday 11th May.
Those lucky enough to find one of the crocheted hearts are encouraged to keep it as a special keepsake and contact Gillingham Grange to claim a prize.
Finders can get in touch by phone, email, Facebook Messenger or by popping into the home in person.
Participants are also encouraged to share their discoveries on Facebook by tagging Gillingham Grange and posting a photo of where they found their heart within the community.
Amanda Whyte, the General Manager at Gillingham Grange, said, “We are very much looking forward to meeting those who find our beautiful hearts. It’s a bit of fun and our residents are excited to bring a bit of kindness and connection to people across Chard.”
