Crystal Care Collection is looking for an exceptional Registered Care Home Manager to lead the commissioning and opening of Austerby Gardens, our stunning new luxury care home in Bourne, due to welcome its first residents in November 2026.

About the Role
As Registered Manager, you’ll take overall responsibility for the successful commissioning, opening and ongoing management of Austerby Gardens.
You’ll lead the home with confidence, creating a positive culture where residents receive exceptional person-centred care and colleagues feel supported, motivated and empowered to succeed.
Working alongside our experienced Head Office teams, you’ll ensure the home achieves high occupancy, excellent compliance, strong financial performance and, most importantly, an outstanding reputation within the local community.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the successful commissioning and opening of a brand-new care home.
- Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing team.
- Deliver outstanding, person-centred care that exceeds regulatory standards.
- Drive occupancy through excellent customer experience and local community engagement.
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.
- Manage budgets effectively and maximise the home’s commercial performance.
- Build strong relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals and local stakeholders.
- Create a positive, supportive culture where colleagues thrive and develop.
- Monitor quality, audits and compliance, ensuring actions are completed promptly.
- Take overall responsibility for the safe and effective day-to-day running of the home.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an experienced and inspirational leader who can combine outstanding care with strong commercial awareness.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within an elderly care home.
- A proven track record of achieving strong CQC outcomes.
- Experience opening or commissioning a care home (desirable but not essential).
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing budgets, occupancy and staffing.
- A passion for developing people and building successful teams.
- A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional care.
